Our group leader, Prof. Surya S Durbha received the prestigious “Prof. S.P. Sukhatme Award for Excellence in Teaching – 2022”. Prof. Durbha was one of the recipients among noted Professors from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay to receive this esteemed honor and was felicitated during the Teachers’ Day function on 5th September 2022.
The event was hosted at the Prof. B. Nag Auditorium of the Victor Menezes Convention Centre, IIT Bombay. Prof. Gagandeep Kang, FRS, Professor of Microbiology & Laboratory Director, Division of Gastrointestinal Sciences, Christian Medical College, Vellore, India was the Chief Guest, and the event was attended by the academic community of the IIT Bombay.
