The GeoComputational and IoT group comprises a multi-disciplinary team of scholars with expertise in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, Electrical along with other engineering majors. The activities of the group are centered around developing applications to process Geospatial data and improving their performance by leveraging the computational power of High-Performance Computing based systems. We have developed an open standard based Internet of Things(IoT) platform for monitoring agricultural conditions.

The GeoComputational Systems and IoT Lab works in a wide variety for research areas spanning across domains such as Geospatial Semantics, High-Performance Computing, Internet of Things and Critical Infrastructure Management.
